Global classic SR is the latest generation of moving bridge style Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) from Hexagon Metrology. The high stability of measuring system can handle any common shop measurement and inspection tasks, therefore improve your inspection throughput.
Distinctive TRICISIONTMbridge design for X beam provides optimum stiffness-to-mass ratio. The light alloy bridge is 25 percent stiffer than traditional designs and the X rail has a 50 percent lower center of gravity for smooth, precise movement. Wider bearing separation than competitive bridge designs assures improved control of bridge axis roll for precise volumetric measuring accuracy, reduced repeatability errors, increased acceleration/deceleration and greater measuring throughput.
Global classic SR combines single-point probing and analog scanning in a single high performance measuring machine, also can equipped with contact or non-contact probe system. Based on the new generation of controller combines, optimizes temperature and accuracy compensation systems and advanced algorithms, global classic SR can support high-speed, high-accuracy analog open and closed loop scanning. The FastProbeTMfeature of Point, Click and Scan Technology allows a scanning prove to be used as a touch trigger probe with no loss of speed or accuracy.

After the measurement of a feature is completed, PC DMIS PRO (DCC) automatically defines the type of the element you measure, gives you the essential information, and draws the feature of the part on the screen. And this dynamic drawing is useful for the operator to realize the feature construction function through the integration of the defined element with the other features.

TESASTAR-mp is a touch-trigger probe consisting of two main parts, one probe body and one mounting module. It could ensure a repositioning repeatable within 2µm whilstallowing manual or automatic probe changing with no need of recurrent qualification. The common M8 threaded connection permits a direct assembly with nearly all existing measuring heads, whether manually operated or motor driven. There are four modules available could provide varying measuring forces from 0.055 N to 0.10 N. TESASTAR-mp is the ideal solution for fast and accurate coordinate measurement of part features.
